The Hyacinthe Collection label has been featured in store windows worldwide. In Japan, the Empress removed her kimono in public for the first time in history to don a silk Hyacinthe running suit. Famous Fashion Designer Charles James mentored Hyacinthe's designs which featured exquisite tailoring, and compared Hyacinthe's fashions to those of Norma Kamali, Christian Dior, Saint Laurent, Madame Vionett, Halston, and called her one of the finest and most original of designers.

Fashion Designer Hyacinthe Baron is a fine artist with paintings and graphics in the Smithsonian and other Museums, Corporate and Private Collections.
Hyacinthe continues to design custom designed silks, made to order in her own workrooms by excellent seamstresses and handpainted with her recognizable painterly designs of florals, stripes, animals, birds, and butterflies.
Hyacinthe also creates custom portraits on silk.

The Hyacinthe Collection of original silk separates previewed during Fashion Week in New York at the Plaza.
Hyacinthe Baron began painting fashion in her gallery on Madison Avenue in New York. She was approached by Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis to create a custom fantasy design.

Hyacinthe and Eden Baron created Atelier Baron and located the factory in the garment center. The Baron's employed over 400 artists working in two daily shifts to replicate Hyacinthe's original designs by hand painting on individual garments and thousands of dresses and shirts and bathing suits for manufacturers.

Hyacinthe Baron is credited with creating the Hand Painting Industry, as chronicled in 1980 in the New York Times and Women's Wear Daily.
