A young (brunette) artist Hyacinthe with the superstar and the portrait.
Commissioned by producer Lee Guber for "Maggies" starring role
in one of his musical comedy productions.

Martha Raye loved the portrait so much she commissioned a portrait
of her best friend actress Joan Crawford.

Martha Raye became godmother to Hyacinthe's youngest son.

The beautiful model Herrissa, a favorite of artist
Hyacinthe, was killed when hit by two cars on Highway one.
The sculpture appeared at a memorial service held on main beach in Laguna.

The first woman artist to own a gallery displaying her work
on the prestigious art street.
For the opening a nude model was placed in the window
in front of Hyacinthe's painting.
Madison Avenue was closed to traffic from 77th to 78th street
for a documentary film of the event.
